David Collas’s Career

David has served the Atlanta community in his position as General Manager of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Atlanta since September of 2016. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality from École Supérieure de Cuisine Française Ferrandi in Paris, France. He also has an M.B.A. in Business and Law from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University in Melbourne, Australia.

David is a native of Champagne, France. Because of this, he is bilingual in French and English. He has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality business. His career in hospitality has lead him to work in many luxury destinations. Some of these include Hong Kong, New York, Cannes, Paris, and finally Atlanta. Before he began running the show at the Atlanta location of the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Hotel, he worked in other positions within the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Examples of this include his time as the Executive Assistant Manager of Food and Beverage in Hong Kong, as well as working for many other luxury hotels.
